I retired from KY State Government in 2002, and after Alana lost his job in December 2008, we are both “UNEMPLOYED.” Like many who have found themselves without a means of income due to the current economy, we turned our attention to alternative methods of supporting ourselves financially. When considering anything, including alternative methods of financial support, I live by the rule, "When in doubt, just stay out."
The purpose of sharing information on the ways we achieve financial gain is exactly that – simply a sharing of the information on methods we use. I have been involved in sales for decades as a means of bringing ‘extra’ income into the household. Currently I focus on AVON, and Send-Out-Cards. The reasons I’ve chosen these companies over the countless other high quality companies I could have chosen to represent is because of their heart, quality products, and the ability to market via the internet. I’m proud to say I’m a representative for each of these highly successful companies, all of which operate via a home-based business multi-level marketing (MLM) strategy.
Turning my attention to marketing on the internet landed me in a strange world I have never before encountered. There are countless ways to receive financial support using the internet, and we've tried several. I even 'partnered with Donald Trump when he threw his hat into the home-based (or MLM) industry. With the launching of 'TRUMP NETWORK' the MLM industry received a level of creditability it has so very long deserved. Of course, with the economy what it is today, most people simply do not have the disposable income to purchase ‘products’ – no matter how great that product might be. Believe me, the ‘masterminds that be' recognize this fact and a myriad of options to achieve financial gain that involve low or no capital outlay are being developed daily. We’re finding the ‘pay it forward,’ or ‘helping others’ concept is receiving a great deal of attention. Personally, I feel we as a people are finally getting a better understanding of what we have been taught all along -- 'do unto others.' We are involved in one such option based on helping others by playing a game.
