Alana has a small in-home recording studio that he absolutely loves. You can tell that music is truly his passion. When you click on the link to the left above you'll be able to enjoy some of Alana's and Ricky's music. They're brothers. The young man in the white cap is Adam, Alana's son, and that's David (in the black cap), their cousin, sitting in with the guys.
You'll not hear these compositions elsewhere, because Alana and Ricky wrote these songs, sing the songs, play all the instruments, and even sings their own back-up vocals (possible through Alana's recording equipment).
Each of the songs they've written portrays an experience in their life. Although I absolutely love ALL of Alana's songs, a couple of my favorites are "Shadow of His Love," "A Lifetime," (guess who he wrote that one about - teehee), and "One-by-One."
One-by-One was birthed from the pain of loosing family members. When Alana's cousin, Kenny, died I was amazed how Alana internalized the pain, let it churn and burn for a period of time, then released it as this beautiful song. Everyone who has ever lost a family member will relate.
We also have friends who are in the music industry and, as with other pages on this site, we want to support our friends by showing off their talents. Click on the link on the right to enjoy other original compositions. It's music like you've never heard before -- because it is.
If you have a song in your heart or on your mind you'd like to have recorded simply click on the 'contact us' link below and we'll see what we can do to help make it happen.
